Privacy Policy

Adentro is a privacy-first AI chat application built by Lens Innovations (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Adentro runs an AI model entirely on your device. Your conversations never leave your phone.

This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, what we don't collect, and how we handle the minimal information that does reach our servers. We built Adentro around a simple principle: your data is yours, and it should stay on your device.

This policy applies to the Adentro mobile application (iOS and Android) and our website at adentro.app.

2.1 On-Device Data (Data We Do NOT Collect)

The following data is created and stored locally on your device in a SQLite database. We never transmit, access, collect, or store this data on our servers:

• Conversations — All messages between you and the AI
• Documents — Any documents you upload or create within the app
• Embeddings — Vector representations of your content used for AI context
• AI model data — The AI model runs entirely on your device

Because this data never leaves your device, we cannot read it, sell it, share it, or lose it in a data breach. It does not exist on our servers.

2.2 Data We Do Collect

We collect a limited amount of data to operate the service:

• Authentication information — If you create an account (optional), we process your email address or receive an authentication token from Apple Sign In or Google OAuth.
• Subscription status — If you subscribe to Adentro Pro, RevenueCat stores and manages your subscription state.
• Push notification tokens — If you enable push notifications, we store your Firebase Cloud Messaging device token.
• Pro agent search queries — When you use Pro agents that require web search, search queries and URLs are transmitted. Conversation content is never included.

2.3 Website Analytics

Our landing page uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-respecting analytics service that does not use cookies, does not track users across sites, and does not collect personal information.

We use the limited data we collect for authentication, subscription management, push notifications, Pro agent functionality, and aggregated website analytics.

We do not use your data to train AI models, build advertising profiles, sell or share your information with data brokers, or track you across apps or websites.

Your conversations, documents, and embeddings are stored in a local SQLite database on your device, protected by your device's own security features. We have no access to this data.

The minimal server-side data is protected using industry-standard security practices including encryption in transit (TLS) and encryption at rest.

When you delete your data within the app, it is permanently removed from your device. If you delete your account, we remove all associated server-side data.

Adentro integrates with Better Auth (authentication), RevenueCat (subscriptions), Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications), Apple/Google app stores (payments), Brave Search (Pro web search), and Plausible Analytics (landing page analytics). Each handles only the minimum data necessary.

Regardless of where you live, you can use Adentro as a guest without creating an account, delete your on-device data at any time, delete your account and all associated server-side data, and opt out of push notifications.

Users in the European Economic Area have additional rights under GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent.

California residents have rights under CCPA including the right to know, delete, opt out of sale (we do not sell personal information), and non-discrimination.

Adentro is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

On-device data is stored until you delete it. Authentication data is retained while your account is active. Subscription data is retained while active and for a reasonable period afterward. Push notification tokens are retained while enabled.

Adentro is available worldwide. Minimal server-side data may be processed in the United States. For EEA users, we ensure GDPR compliance for data transfers. Your conversation data remains on your device regardless of location.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the effective date, notify users of material changes, and post the updated policy.
